Island Hopping
You can island hop between Koh Chang, Koh Klum, Koh Wai, Koh Mak and Koh Kood using the daily wooden boat passenger boat or speedboat run by Bang Bao Boats or the speedboat run by Kai Bae Nor Nou. Koh Kut Express also has a daily speedboat service between Koh Mak and Koh Kood only.
Prices for the wooden boat go from 300bt to 700bt per adult depending on which island to which island. The return sevice is at 13.00 from Koh Kood. With a 09.00 departure from Koh Chang, it takes 30 minutes to Koh Klum, an hour to Koh Wai, 2 hours to Koh Mak and 3 hours to Koh Kood.
Prices for Bang Bao Boats speedboat are 900bt to Koh Mak (30 minutes) and 1,200bt to Koh Kood (1 hour). It departs at 12.00 from Koh Chang, and 09.00 from Koh Kood. It’s 700bt from Koh Mak to Koh Kood in either direction.
Kai Bae Nor Nou departs at 09.00 from Koh Chang, 1 hour to Koh Mak (800bt) and another hour to Koh Kood (1,200bt). The return service is at 11.00. From Koh Mak to Koh Kood is 600bt.
Koh Kut Express’ mini catamaran is at 12.00 from Koh Mak to Koh Kood, 09.30 going the other way. It costs 550bt in either direction, taking 30 minutes.
